Ford Motor Company Earnings reflect blood money, the money earned and saved by, delaying recalls, staging recalls leaving loyal consumers at risk, at deadly risk.
When CEO Alan R. Mulally arrived at Ford Motor Company, he failed in the most important aspect of Automobile Manufacturing ‘Integrity towards the Consumer’. Instead, he decided Marketing expenditures, should take prescience over Ford products that were defective and fire prone and needed to be recalled. His idea of ‘lean’, seemed to be his theme at Boeing and now ,again at Ford Motor Company. Take a look at the Jets, falling from the sky ,from metal fatigue.
Well, a $21 dollar cruise control switch that was defective in my Lincoln, was recalled 9 months after the fire, that killed my son Payton.
Think about this Company, beyond the huge media marketing campaigns, and investigate the roots of this Global Automotive leader based in Dearborn, Michigan, that distributes automobiles across Six continents. How many people have been hurt and killed for this kind of success? $21

Did you turn out OK?

If you were raised on home cooking, your crib had Lead Base paint, rode a bike with no helmet, no child proofing, didn’t have to wear a seat belt, you could ride in the bed of the pick up truck, VCR Tapes were a luxury, playing outside after dark was safe, you got spanked, had 3 TV channels & no remote, school always started w/the Pledge of Allegiance, & stores were closed Sunday, and YOU STILL TURNED OUT OK,

Judge Friedman Defends Ford Motor Company

Friday, April 15, 2011

The Car’s Cruise Control switch was found (by expert) to have internaly failed. And Fuel Line placement was a secondary cause of fire

A 25 year expert stated the First cause of fire was
1. car’s cruise control switch caught fire, brakes, just ignited the fire more, straight into Payton’s face, killing him. Payton Called me telling me something smelled wrong with the car, Samantha was trying to jump out of the car, the passenger window was down.
Switch failed proof by testing, they paid for passenger,   death result of fuel line failure placed in wheel well, fact, it is burn patterns and torn line, rapid rate of fire, no other car I have found has fuel lines and filter in wheel well

Switches catch fire  key on or key off   it is hot
100 % of the time   switch doesn’t know the difference.
Ford can’t disprove this, based on all Ford testing and reports.
Hex port test 2 separate laboratories   testing for copper positive both times,  research by fire experts if you have copper you have a failure.

2. Fuel lines in wheel well failed   fact contributed to the rate of flame growth of course.

But, My original Attorney failed to mention the secondary cause of death in the Petition against Ford Motor Company.

Notice in this picture where the fire is coming from, the driver’s side of the top of the hood, not the left side where the car hit the trees.

what happen Alan R. Mullay? More Staged Recalls?More Money For You!More Awards!

Like I’ve been saying all along. Ford Builds the worse vehicles in the U.S.A .
The company lies, delays recalls and is totally ruthless with it’s consumers.
If you (Ford) know there is a safety risk for your customers, why do you (Ford) delay recalling? Because Ford doesn’t care about it’s customers, so why give Ford your business? I say Boycott, there are plenty of other vehicles to choose from.
Ford recalled my car 9 months after my son burned to death, they knew about that safety issue too, but delayed , and denied any fault, case was dismissed in Detroit. (don’t transfer your case to Detroit, it will never get out.

What CEO’s Are Making in Hard Times for most Americans

The chief executive of Ford Motor, Alan R. Mulally, made $26.5 million in total pay, up 48 percent over the previous year as a result of big stock option awards. Ford was the only one of Detroit’s Big Three automakers that did not receive a government bailout, and its stock value rose 68 percent last year.

The Greatness of CEO ALAN R. MULALLY AND BILL FORD JR. They KNEW THE RISK, BUT PUSHED THE COMPANY FORWARD

CEO ALAN R. MULALLY AND BILL FORD JR. KNEW THE RISK, BUT PUSHED THE COMPANY FORWARD

Ford filed an analysis of the Firestone defect with NHTSA earlier this month. In its report, the company concurred with Firestone that faulty tire design and manufacturing is the root cause of the problem. However, Ford also blamed poor customer tire maintenance.Ford and Firestone have engaged in a public feud for months about which company is responsible for scores of deadly accidents.

The second-largest automaker points the finger at faulty tires. Firestone — a subsidiary of Bridgestone of Tokyo, the largest tiremaker in the world — insists Ford produced the Explorer with a deadly tendency to flip.
Rintamaki said that Ford’s replacement plan will concentrate first on the oldest Firestone tires installed on its vehicles as the company feels that they have highest chance of failure. WHY DIDN’T THEY DO THE SAME FOR THE CRUISE CONTROL SWITCHES?
“Tires less than three years old have a lower failure rate,” said Rintamaki, “so we will replace older tires first, then the newer ones. But all Wilderness tires installed on Ford vehicles will be replaced.”

Ford’s Recall LEFT
Public At Risk

AUGUST 3, 2007 — Ford Motor Co. announced the recall of an additional 3.6 million passenger cars, trucks, sport-utility vehicles and vans to fix a cruise-control switch that has been linked to at least 1,100 engine fires and prompted five previous recalls beginning in January 2005. The recall includes 177,000 vehicles in Mexico, Canada and Europe. The company has cumulatively recalled almost 10.3 million vehicles but still leaves 5.7 million vehicles at risk.

Ford recently admitted to receiving reports of engine fires involving older Crown Victoria sedans that were not included in the earlier recalls but came equipped with the same speed control deactivation switch manufactured by Texas Instruments Inc. The switch, which is powered at all times, can leak over time and cause an electrical fire. Fires in vehicles covered by previous Ford recalls have led to at least three fatalities, garage and house fires.

The fix will occur in two stages because units to correct the problem will not be available until October. Ford will begin notifying owners by mid-month to take their recalled vehicles in to Ford dealerships to have the switch disconnected. Then in October, owners will have to take their vehicles back to complete the installation.

Problems with the Texas Instruments device first surfaced in the late 1990s, prompting Ford to recall nearly 280,000 1992 and 1993 Mercury Grand Marquis sedans. A year later, NHTSA began an investigation after receiving complaints about engine fires in Ford vehicles that used the device. As that investigation expanded, Ford recalled more and more vehicles, including 740,000 F-150s, Ford Expeditions and Lincoln Navigators while maintaining that there was no conclusive evidence that the switches were to be blamed. In September 2005 and again in August 2006, Ford respectively recalled another 3.8 million and 1.2 million vehicles.

===

AUGUST 3, 2006 — Ford Motor Co. has cumulatively recalled 6.7 million vehicles since January 2005 that are equipped with a Texas Instruments speed control deactivation switch that has been linked to dozens of engine fires. The recall, although massive, is incomplete and leaves millions of Ford owners fending for themselves.

Staging a recall in three separate notices only serves Ford’s interest. Ford recalled 792,000 vehicles in January 2005 when their own investigation in 1999 revealed a deadly problem that could affect millions of vehicles. The subsequent recalls, 3.8 million vehicles in September 2005, and 1.2 million vehicles in August 2006, still leaves approximately 9.3 million vehicles at risk.

About 16 million of the switches in question are used in Ford vehicles and 4 million in non-Ford vehicles. Incidents of fires involving non-Ford vehicles have not been reported. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) says it will continue to monitor vehicles equipped with the switch that have not been recalled.

The NHTSA has received 1,472 complaints about malfunctioning cruise controls. 559 reported vehicle fires, 253 of them in unrecalled models. It has confirmed 65 vehicle fires, but no fatalities, although there are at least 13 wrongful death suits filed against Ford involving switch fires. Most of the fires in question occurred when the vehicles were not running. The fires can ignite well after the engine has been turned off because electrical current continues to run through the switch.

The NHTSA reported fatigue failure of a brake seal allows fluid to corrode the cruise control switch when it’s pointed up. “The brake systems generate a vacuum that can potentially cause the (switch) to fail and in certain installation orientations catch fire.”

Ford maintained there was no conclusive evidence the systems were malfunctioning and sparking fires until last September, when it recalled 3.8 million pickups and SUVs from the 1994 to 2002 model years, including the F-150.

In the late 1980s, Ford asked Texas Instruments to build a fourth-generation speed control switch — first introduced in the 1960s. Then in the spring of 1992, Ford asked Texas Instruments to develop a quieter switch.

Corporations like Ford Motor Company

Ford Motor Company is a great example of a Corporation that get’s away with Murder. They have produced millions of vehicles with defective parts, that are dangerous to the consumer, yet they would rather clean up the back lash with Dykema Attorney’s instead of making it right with victims. Ford Knew about most of these defects and still they sold the new car smell along with inferior parts and designs.
